Got Feelings?

Of course you do.
Emotions are part of being human, and they’re not random.
They’re messengers. Signals. Invitations to pay attention to what we’re feeling, needing, or protecting. But too often, we’re taught to ignore those signals. Children are told to “calm down” before they’ve learned how.

Parents are expected to regulate emotions that no one ever helped them name. Communities are left to navigate emotional overload without tools or support. And the cost? It shows up in our homes, our schools, our relationships, and our health. That’s where emotional literacy comes in.

🧠 What Is Emotional Literacy?

Emotional literacy is the ability to recognize, understand, and respond to emotions both our own and others’ in ways that support safety, healing, and connection.”

At Lion & Lamb Creative, we believe emotional literacy is more than a nice-to-have.
It’s infrastructure for thriving.

It’s how we prevent harm before it happens.
It’s how we build healing-centered homes, classrooms, and communities.
And it’s how we help people of all ages feel seen, supported, and empowered to care for what they carry.

We’re here to make emotional literacy accessible, creative, and culturally rooted, especially for those who’ve historically been left out of the conversation.
